Argentina is in the top 5 wine producing regions, and is the only New World country where wine became a national drink. Chile has been producing wine as long as Argentina but produces much less wine. However it has some very special climatic conditions and soils that is sometimes said to be a viticulturists dream. It is also currently relevant that the exchanage rate has not worked against the UK.

Taken together Argentina & Chile produce wine from a very wide range of grape varieties. And they compete across the price range, for everyday wines to those that can win prizes at the highest levels.

This tasting is an opportunity to taste and learn about the current offerings from Chile & Argentina.

As usual there will be a selection of quality breads and cheeses.

To help planning please book as far in in advance as practical.
